Youth Duck Calling Classes

The Grand Passage Sportsmen will again be hosting a series of youth duck calling classes leading up to the Nebraska State Calling Contest. NEW for 2026, classes will now include Goose Calling instruction! The classes are open to everyone, and participation in the state contest is not required. If you simply want to learn how to call, or improve on your calling, this will be a great opportunity. The classes will start with the basics and progress each week, with the last week focused on contest calling. Instructed by the current World Champion Duck Caller and past NE State Champions plus other expert duck callers. Must be at least 8 years old to participate.

Classes are FREE for ages 17 and under. Minimum age of 8.
18 and over and adults is only $40 for the entire series.


Time: Starts at 8pm each evening

Nick Brichacek of Schuyler, NE won the World Championship Duck Calling Contest in 2023, and will be leading the calling class instructions along with 2023 Nebraska State Champion Jesse Headid.
